I implore your aid, grace and providence in my soul and for my intentions listed below for myself, Son Christopher, mother Margaret , siblings, friends, all my relatives and loved ones, who this daily Novena is intended for and for the whole world. Please, pray for addicted persons with whom we (our team, rehab.centre Christian community) work here in Latvia. Part of them are formerly been inprisoned and sometimes it is very hard for them to leave prison subculture and values behind, and it impacts everyone else in rehab centre. It is a real spiritual battle sometimes. Sometimes I feel exhausted. May they open their heart to Jesus and life in truth. May God be praised and glorified everywhere!

I was incredibly sad to learn last night that my teenage son has contemplated suicide. I cannot explain the pain I feel, not only in my heart but for my child. He told me on most days he feels lonely and like no one cares about him. He also told me that he feels that everyone will be better off without him around. I told my son that I love him over and over, and hugged him for hours. I was trying to know more of why he is feeling this way, he tells me he doesn't know... I suggested we go start attending church as a family again, he told me he is not sure how he feels about church or God right now. That broke my heart even more. I feel that he needs support from his father and I, but I know that having Jesus in his heart WILL HELP. I am sad that I am losing my son. I also suggested we go to the Doctor today, he said he doesn't want pills. Neither do I, but I want him to have peace of mind and be happy. I also found out that he has a girlfriend who is also having issues in her life. This didn't make me feel any better, because he has this attachment to her. He says he goes to her for everything, and that he doesn't know what he would do with out her. I asked him, what would you do if she where to break up with you? would you consider hurting yourself? He answered "Maybe". Please help me. I now too feel alone, this is not something I want family to know. But I do want him to be happy, to never think of doing anything like this. Please, please, please pray for my son and our family.
