Father God, I humbly ask you to bless this offer and the people who are making final decesion. Rodger, 8/18/2016 - Lord, I do know that You are working in my life, but sometimes it feels like such a heavy burden I carry. Help me lay it at your feet continually. When my singing voice a few years ago I was crushed. I could no longer cantor, so you lifted my spirit to sing your praises from the pews. Then, after 6 years, the doctor You led me to finally had a diagnosis, trachiorbronchial malacia. Then I knew why I couldn't sing. It's hard to sing when your trachea and bronchi collapse with each with each exhale. No cure. Need to reley on my Rock once more, more than usual that is. Prednisone induced diabetis along with 40 pounds,,,You kept/keep me breathing. You must have some more work for me to do. Please help me understand what it is. This is my prayer, O Lord, even with the onset of rheumatoid arthritis, there must be a way to continue to praise You in this life. Hear my plea, O Lord. Do not forsake the work of your hands. I praise You Lord for all the blessings You have bestowed on my beloved and I. Glory and praise to your name forever, Jesus, my Lord!

Okay, I'll keep this as brief as possible.
It's now 21 days post surgery and today has been most probably the most difficult and traumatic day I have endured to date.
With very little warning late in the day, I suffered a totally unexpected episode of Autonomic Dysreflexia...apart from the sudden dramatic feeling of my head falling off my neck there was little other warnimg signs!
I guess I've used up another one of my nine lives so all is okay...the girls (Bridie and Abby) will be happy that I lived to fight another day.
Paul Wilton...you need to feel so proud of your beautiful 'nurse' daughter as I suspect her expertise and depth of knowledge in the obtuse field of spinal cord injuries (SCI) helped to save my life.
Enough said...come on Day 22 Post-op...off to rehab early next week
