- Please pray for my brothers safe ride home from New York to Missouri. Bless him to be a successful welder in jesus name. I need my boyfriend to pursue me more in our relationship and to make time for me please. He works hard everyday and I miss him so much! Sonia, 12/2/2016 - Please pray for people who are dealing with depression and other mental illness. They are real and they can make life very hard. People judge you so easily.
I have dealt with depression half my life and feel that I have lost a lot of life due to it. I have missed so much and been left out of so many things that make life enjoyable and that build future. It has also made me very vulnerable, anxious and scared. I have very little social contacts and my finances and employability are in dire state. These are hard things to tackle on their own, and when you are sick bad things easily add up. When you have very limited support, little resources, ways to cope or financial, emotional & psychological reserves, it all feeds the hopelessness and weariness one already feels. It is truly vicious.You feel so weak and like a failure.You sometimes feel that you are punished or that God has simply forgotten you.
I have dreams of being able to have a meaningful career where I can use my skills and talents and be useful and of help to others. I have dreams being able to travel the world: see new people and places and have new experiences. I have dreams that I have good trusted friends. And most of all I dream of finding loved one to build a future together and to have a family.
These dreams, needs and desires seem so far away from the situation I am currently in, impossible even. Please if you can, pray that I will have happiness here in this world that I too am worthy of life's blessings and God hears my prayers. I pray God to guide me into a different path, one where I will not feel so lost and lonely. I need his help urgently. Thank you!
