WATERTOWN, MA (November 7, 2011) Karen Sester, National Director of Familia USA, To Be Interviewed on Live Talk Show of the CatholicTV® Network.

On November 8, 2011, Karen Sester, National Director of Familia USA, will be featured on the CatholicTV Network's nationally broadcasted live talk show; This is the Day to discuss the work of Familia USA.

Familia USA is a Catholic program committed to strengthening all families. It is Familia's mission to strengthen families by helping men and women live their vocation to marriage and parenthood in all its fullness. Familia believes the family is the bedrock of our society. This is where God has made known his presence in a most unique and unrepeatable way. Familia equips men and women with practical tools that will enable them to become spouses, fathers and mothers their family needs.

Familia USA does this by providing a variety of programs for teams of men, women, or couples in a parish or neighborhood. Participants enjoy guided discussions lead by trained facilitators. Small groups use a workbook to help participants prepare and guide the discussions. Each question clearly references back to a portion of the reading where the principle can be discovered and read together during the team meeting.

Familia USA is part of a Movement in the church called Regnum Christi. In 1993 several Regnum Christi couples in Minneapolis, Minnesota worked as a team to develop materials, structure and training to promote the well-being of the family. Each element was thought through carefully. The many challenges families face today needed to addressed and real attainable solutions provided. Familia works hard to transmit the ideas, principles and practical tools that bring clarity and peace to family life. Families built on the bedrock of truth know what love is and how to transmit it.

Through well prepared and effective materials, Familia teams build up a deep appreciation for the dignity of the human person. Topics include the Theology of the Body, the great esteem the Church has for women, fathers and Christian leadership, the importance of human labor and the confidence and peace which comes from prayer. Familia offers realistic ways to succeed in what matters most.
