Shop St. Michael of Synnada
Bishop and disciple of St. Tarasius of Constantinople. Michael was bishop of Synnada, Phrygia, in modem Turkey. He carried a synodal document from St. Tarasius to Pope St. Leo III in Rome. An enemy of the Iconoclast heretics in the Byzantine Empire, Michael was exiled to Galatia by Emperor Leo V the Armenian.
