Nueva Biblia de Jerusalén
La Nueva Biblia de Jerusalén (BJ) es una traducción católica de la Biblia publicada en 1985. La Nueva Biblia de Jerusalén (BJ) se ha convertido en la Biblia católica romana más utilizado fuera de los Estados Unidos. Cuenta con el visto bueno del cardenal George Basil Hume.
Al igual que su predecesora, la Biblia de Jerusalén, la Nueva Biblia de Jerusalén (BJ) versión se traduce "directamente del hebreo, griego o arameo." La traducción francesa 1973, la Biblia de Jerusalén, es seguida sólo "cuando el texto admite más de una interpretación." Las introducciones y notas, con algunas modificaciones, se han tomado de la Biblia de Jerusalén.
