St. Phocas of Antioch
Martyr. An Antiochene Christian, he was put to death during the persecution of the Church in the Eastern Empire by co-Emperor Licinius Licinianus. According to custom, Phocas was suffocated in his bath. The Acts recounting his martyrdom are considered unreliable.
