Saint Sebaldus was a hermit and missionary who lived a life of prayer and service in the German lands. He preached the Christian faith and helped establish the Church among people who were still receiving the Gospel.

Sebaldus was remembered for his charity, humility, and care for the poor. He became the patron of Nuremberg, where his relics are venerated and his witness continues to call the faithful to trust in God.
