Saint Nicola Saggio of Longobardi was an Italian lay brother of the Order of Minims. Born in Longobardi, he entered religious life and served his brothers and the people with humility, prayer, penance, and generous charity.

Nicola was known for his devotion to the Eucharist and for his care for the poor and suffering. His hidden fidelity to the ordinary duties of religious life became a witness to the holiness of simplicity. Pope Francis canonized him in 2014.
