Martyr of Spain. A Christian versed in Arabic, Isaac served the Moors until he became a monk at Tabanos monastery, near Cordoba. He denounced Muhammad in a public debate with the local magistrate and was arrested. Cruelly tortured, Isaac was martyred at the age of twenty seven.
