St. Andrew of Ireland
Founder and companion of St. Donatus. An Irishman, Andrew was taught by St. Donatus and accompanied him to Rome on a pilgrimage. At Fiesole, in Italy, Donatus was made a bishop, and he ordained Andrew as a deacon. Andrew is reported to have become a monk, founding a monastery and rebuilding a church. There is no historical documentation of Andrew's life.
