MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - In a recent article from Daily Mail's FEMAIL, they listed some easy tips on how to avoid unattractive messy hair. These easy hair hacks are not what we usually expect.
1. Use shampoo after every conditioner.
Yes, according to Nina Dimachki, the artistic director for Kérastase, it is more helpful to the nourishment adsorption of hair to use the conditioner first before shampooing, and without weighing the mane down. "It also promotes a longer lasting blow dry and primes the hair before cleansing, allowing shampoo to distribute easier and more evenly," she added.
2. Use dryer sheets for slickness.
Too many hair products can really weigh the hair down, so experts actually recommend using something available to nearly all households - tumbler dryer sheets. A few swipes of the sheets will make unruly hair smoothed down with nice slick.
3. Eyeshadow on hair for thickness.
To provide the illusion of a more voluminous and thicker mane, dust matte eyeshadow along the hairline. Just remember, use a product the same color as your hair.
4. Wet the hair but use dry shampoo.
Well, this is kind off controversial. "It all depends on the type of volume I want. I use dry shampoo when I want the hair to look like there is absolutely no product in the hair. So when I am looking for large volume, but an airy, not-so-set-in-place style, dry shampoo is my go-to," said Michael Dueñas, celebrity stylist for the likes of Mariah Carey and Lady Gaga.
These are only some of the unusual but easy tips to follow when taking care of and styling hair. Never forget to keep it clean and healthy.
