Throughout history mankind has sought to be in tune with "signs" and occurrences that
foretold God's Will.

We contemplate this in our prayers today, as we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of
Saint Pope John Paul II's:

Having organized the first "World Day of Prayer for Peace" in Assisi, Italy, on October 27, 1986.
It was for two days ending on (October 28, 1986).

However, what most people do not know is how this all ties into history. 1700 years ago during 312 AD, and on the very day (of October 28th) The Emperor Constantine won the battle of the Milvian Bridge.

Henceforth our Christian faith became the state religion of the Western world.

A Chi-Rio image had appeared in whatever form (some thinking it was related to a meteor).

Forever afterwards, the Chi-Rho sign of the cross became the symbol of our Catholic Faith. It
was Emperor Constantine's great act of faith, and timeliness of his actions, which has inspired
people over the ages.

Fast forward to April 27, 2014 when Pope Paul ll and Pope John XXlll became the first
Pontiffs to be canonized into Sainthood at the same ceremony for their life's achievements:

Regarding Saint Pope Paul ll we remember today the 30th year anniversary of his (October
27-28)
"World Day of Prayer for Peace."

Saint Pope John XXlll is widely known for initiating the Second Vatican Council which like his
eventual successor above, created landmark inter-denominational and non-denominational
dialogue with other religions for peace. They are forerunners regarding our modern-day
worldwide reconciliations, and Holy See Mission to the United Nations.

Moreover, by the Grace of God the miracle of Saint John XXlll's Papacy also began on
the very same day of (October 28th) 1958.

It is uncanny for these dates to match. We have been privileged regarding these
extraordinary events. Consequently, these things appear to be important "signs" warranting our
attention, and to which we celebrate the mysteries of Christ as one with God the Holy Father.

Moreover, His Holiness Pope Francis appeals to us to work together for the betterment of
mankind, and in brotherhood and sisterhood. We can transcend normally held boundaries
whether we be atheist, agnostic, regardless of religion, non-religious, political or economic
persuasion, country or origin, migrant in a safe zone, or refugee camp, we can feel free to
participate; without shame or feelings of coercion, or corrupting personal beliefs.

Let us work together to create peace in the world, save our planet, and work to resolve
our differences through diplomatic means.
