Shop St. Maximian of Ravenna
St. Maximian was bishop of Ravenna, ordained by Pope Vigilius in 546. He completed the Basilica of San Vitale, which was dedicated in the presence of Emperor Justinian and Empress Theodora. The sixth-century mosaics at San Vitale preserve his image among the imperial retinue. His feast is celebrated on February 22.
