Two groups of martyrs, otherwise unknown, who were slain in Egypt. There were many other known martyrs who were put to death in Egypt, a large number of them dying in Alexandria.
(d.c.303) Holy Martyrs slain in the Thebaid, Upper Egypt, under Emperor Diocletian . Feastday: January 5 (d.c. 357) Several bishops and priests who were sent into exile by Arian heretics. They are traditionally venerated as holy confessors. Feastday: May 21
