Saint Nicasius of Heeze was a Franciscan friar and priest who served the Catholic Church in the Low Countries during a time of religious persecution. He remained devoted to the Eucharist, the sacraments, and the care of the faithful.

Nicasius was captured and martyred with the Martyrs of Gorkum in 1572 because he would not deny the Catholic faith or the authority of the Church. Pope Pius IX canonized him with his companions in 1867.
