Saint Bonaventure of Miyako was a Japanese Catholic layman and martyr who served the Christian community of Miyako. He remained faithful to Christ during a period when the Catholic faith was forbidden and missionaries and their companions were hunted.

Bonaventure was crucified at Nagasaki with the Twenty-Six Martyrs of Japan on February 5, 1597. He was canonized by Pope Pius IX in 1862 and is honored as a witness to the missionary Church in Japan.
