Saint Rafqa Pietra Choboq Ar-Rayès was a Lebanese Maronite religious sister. Born in Himlaya, she was baptized as Boutroussieh and grew in a family that taught her love of God, prayer, and fidelity to the Catholic faith.

She entered the Lebanese Maronite Order and offered profound physical suffering in union with the Passion of Christ. Rafqa endured blindness and severe illness with patience, prayer, and trust. Pope John Paul II canonized her in 2001.
