Saint Oliva of Brescia was a Christian virgin and martyr of the early Church. She belonged to the community of believers in Brescia and dedicated herself to Christ during a time when confessing the Catholic faith could bring imprisonment and death.

Oliva endured persecution rather than deny the Lord. The Church honors her as an example of the courage and purity of the early Christian martyrs and preserves her memory in the liturgical tradition of Brescia.
