Saint Michael Kurobioye was a Ugandan Catholic layman and martyr who embraced the Gospel during the evangelization of Buganda. He belonged to the Christian community that remained faithful despite the violent opposition of the royal authorities.

Michael was killed during the persecution of the Uganda Martyrs on June 3, 1886. Together with his companions, he preferred death to denying Jesus Christ. Pope Paul VI canonized him with the Uganda Martyrs in 1964.
