Saint Marie-Alphonsine Danil Ghattas was a Palestinian religious sister and cofounder of the Dominican Sisters of the Most Holy Rosary of Jerusalem. Born in Jerusalem, she entered religious life and devoted herself to catechesis, the education of girls, and the spiritual care of Christian families.
With the help of the Dominican Order, she established a congregation of Arabic-speaking women religious for service in the Holy Land.
