Saint Francisco Pinazo Peñalver was a Spanish Franciscan friar who served the Church in the Holy Land and Damascus. Born in El Chopo near Alpuente, he entered religious life and faithfully carried out humble duties in the Franciscan community.

During the persecution of Christians in Damascus, he refused to abandon the faith and was killed in the Franciscan convent during the night of July 9–10, 1860. He was canonized by Pope Francis on October 20, 2024, with the other Martyrs of Damascus.
