St. Caprasius
Facts
Hermit and monastic founder. Sometimes called Caprais, he was a recluse in Provence. France, and went to Greece to start a hermitage. Sts. Honoratus and Venantius accompanied him on hisjourney. Venantius died at Modon, in Greece, and Caprasius and Honoratus returned to Lerins off the coast of France. Caprasius aided Honoratus in founding a monastery there.
