
St. Myrope

Martyr of the island of Chios, in Greece, who recovered the body of St. Isidore after his martyrdom. She and a Roman soldier, Ammianus, were arrested for recovering the sainted remains. Myrope was scourged and died in prison. Ammianus was also martyred.
