Groups of martyrs venerated for their sacrifices in China. There are also many individuals who were martyred in that enormous country.

(d. 1893) Five Dominicans who died there for the faith. (d. 1900) Thirteen martyrs, included with the martyrs of Vietnam. (d. 1901) Twenty-nine Blessed Franciscans martyred during the Boxer Rebellion. They were beatified in 1946. Feastday: July 9
