Saint Secundus of Asti was an early Christian martyr and the principal patron of the city of Asti. He confessed Christ during the persecutions of the Roman Empire and refused to sacrifice to the pagan gods.

Secundus was put to death at Asti, traditionally during the reign of the Emperor Hadrian. The Church honors him as a courageous witness whose faith endured beyond the power of the world.
