Saint Pompilio Maria Pirrotti was an Italian priest and member of the Piarist Fathers. He dedicated himself to the Christian education of children and to the spiritual care of people who were poor, neglected, or burdened by sin.
Pompilio was a zealous preacher and confessor who had a deep devotion to the Eucharist and the Blessed Virgin Mary. He endured opposition with patience and sought to lead every person to reconciliation with God. Pope Pius XI canonized him in 1934.
