Saint Paula Frassinetti was an Italian religious sister and foundress of the Congregation of Saint Dorothy. Born in Genoa, she devoted herself to the Christian education of girls and to the formation of women who would serve the Church and society.
Paula united a life of prayer with patient work, humility, and confidence in Divine Providence. Her congregation spread Catholic education in Italy and beyond. Pope John Paul II canonized her in 1984.
