Saint Magnus of Cuneo was a Christian soldier and martyr who belonged to the ancient tradition of the Theban martyrs. He refused to participate in persecution and remained obedient to Christ rather than to commands that violated the law of God.
Magnus gave his life for the Catholic faith and is honored in the region of Cuneo. His witness recalls the courage of Christians who recognized that faithful service to earthly authority can never require denial of the Lord.
