Saint Juliana of Liège was a Belgian religious woman whose love for the Eucharist helped lead to the institution of the solemnity of Corpus Christi. Born near Liège, she entered the Augustinian convent of Mont Cornillon and devoted herself to prayer and Eucharistic adoration.

Juliana courageously promoted a deeper celebration of the Real Presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. After suffering opposition and exile, she died in retirement at Fosses. Pope Pius IX canonized her in 1869.
