Saint María de Jesús Sacramentado Venegas de la Torre was a Mexican religious sister and the foundress of the Daughters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Born in Zapopan, she devoted herself to Eucharistic prayer and to the care of the sick.

She served as a nurse and worked to establish hospitals and a religious family dedicated to Christian compassion. Her life joined professional care with prayer and trust in the Sacred Heart. Pope John Paul II canonized her in 2000.
