Saint Sennen was a Persian Christian martyr who is honored together with Saint Abdon. During the persecution of the Emperor Decius, the two Christians were brought to Rome and ordered to renounce the faith.

Sennen refused to sacrifice to pagan gods and remained faithful to Jesus Christ despite torture and death. The Church venerates him as a witness to the strength of Christian faith in the face of persecution.
