Paul Ryan you're FIRED! Speaker Ryan's failure to repeal Obamacare reveals a weakness

Ryan is the wrong man for Trump's agenda.

Paul Ryan has let America down and failed his party, his president, and you, his constituents. Ryan was given a golden opportunity and a mandate to repeal Obamacare, and he failed to secure the support of his own party to pass the bill. He misjudged the Freedom Caucus and others.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Americans don't care for Obamacare. It is a program designed to fail, possibly intended to force us into single-payer someday. This is one of the reasons why Americans sent Trump to the Oval Office along with a Republican legislature.

The 2016 election represents a sweeping coup for the Republican party. The house, the senate, and the White House are all in conservative hands. Even the Supreme Court will soon see its conservative balance restored. Can the American people be anymore clear with the direction they want the country to go?

Given this sweeping mandate, this concentration of conservative power, Donald Trump went to Washington with an agenda. High on his list of priorities were tax cuts for workers and businesses. However, Speaker Ryan persuaded Trump that his first order of business ought to be the repeal and replacement of Obamacare.

Ryan put forward the replacement bill which was widely panned as "Obamacare light." The ultra-conservative Freedom Caucus, a tight-knit and secretive band of twenty conservative legislators, rejected the plan. They wanted concessions, which Ryan failed to negotiate.

Ryan was entirely unable to muster the support needed to pass the bill. It's an astounding failure of leadership. To appreciate how great the failure is, it would be the same as a girl scout unable to sell Girl Scout cookies to her own, otherwise supportive family.

The Freedom Caucus was right to insist the bill could be improved. While it defunded Planned Parenthood, it also left in place a slew of Obama giveaways that would doom the new law in time, the same as Obamacare.

There is no excuse for this failure. Ryan had the time, the support and the golden opportunity to pass this landmark legislation. The reason he failed is simple. He is too incompetent for his post.

Why didn't he end the Obamacare giveaway program? Shouldn't people pay for what they use? Or should we continue to take from those who work to give to those who refuse?

Ryan had the point position in this operation. As Trump's inside man who knows the ins and outs of Washington, unlike Trump who is a businessman, Ryan is responsible for gathering the support Trump needs. President Trump, who is an excellent CEO, is not a politician. Ryan's job is to handle politics for Trump, so Trump can focus on running the business that is our Federal government.

There will be more fallout. President Trump's next item appears to be tax cuts. But now Ryan and Trump have spent their political capital in the recent debacle. This jeopardizes tax cuts for millions of working Americans.

It is time for Ryan to step down because he has demonstrated he is not up to the task. The repeal and replacement of Obamacare should have been an easy assignment. If Speaker Ryan struggled with this, what will happen when the going gets tough?
