Nothing is simple or sacred anymore.

A judge in Oregon has ruled that a transgender person can now become "non-binary" that is, they no longer have a sex, at least legally. The judge ruled in the case of Jamie Shupe, an Army veteran who said he did not identify as either male or female.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Multnomah County Judge, Amy Holmes has ruled that Jamie Shupe can become the first legally recognized "non-binary" person in the United States. Non-binary means a person does not belong to either sex.

Jamie Shupe was born male, and served in the Army, becoming a sergeant. After his service in the Army, Shupe pursued his gender identity, which in this case was more female than male, but not quite female. He changed his name to "Jamie" because it is gender neutral.

Shupe became female, legally in 2013 and underwent procedures to force her body to become more feminine. Under Oregon law, people can change their gender if they have begun the procedures to change their body through forced conversion attempts. Of course, this has no impact on DNA, but the cosmetic changes can be substantial.

This is the first time in U.S. history that a person has legally become "non-binary." The change may impact a wide variety of services including driver's licensing, medical services, gym memberships and more.

People who say they complete these procedures and change their names and genders say they feel better afterwards. However, there are concerns about accommodating these requests, both from a moral perspective and from a functional perspective. Functionally, accommodations for these people can be exploited and abused, commonly by heterosexual perverts. Unfortunately, a person's gender cannot be changed. You cannot change your DNA. However, the law is another matter and it is obvious that activist judges are quite willing to upset norms and change rules to promote their own agendas.
