LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Despite Clinton's ongoing federal investigation, it would seem the ongoing success in delegate collections has led to the unlikely chance the Democrat forerunner will ever be indicted.
Several critics have questioned whether Clinton should even be allowed to run but this is the United States of America's government and it does as it pleases.
Democrat Bernie Sanders may have lost the delegate race but he admitted he was still making calls to Clinton's superdelegate supporters to encourage them to switch camps.
Sanders' wife, Jane, previously stated her husband would not be stopped. His call for the detection and removal of political corruption on all levels of government has caught on and the American people have fanned the spark into a roaring flame.
Sanders supporters expected tighter control of Wall Street, eradicating income inequality and cutting political corruption - all of which would greatly improve the American way of life, yet it is vital to note the time in which change comes about.
The fight for women's rights continues to this day, as does the conclusion of racial bias - but someone had to start these movements and Sanders is the face of political reform movement today.
Charles Chamberlain, the executive director of Democracy for America, a political action committee with a reformist mentality, explained his faith in Sanders' movement: "I do think we are going to see real changes in the Democratic Party going forward because of Bernie. The future of the party is with the people supporting Sanders."
MSNBC noted Sanders has yet to build a foundation to push government reform but admitted the seeds of reform have been firmly planted during each of his rallies and will combine to "an allied force."
One public policy professor at the University of California, Berkley, stated: "Bernie Sanders personifies [ordinary people]. The more he advocates a fundamental retooling of our economy and democracy in favor of average working people, the more popular he becomes among those who no longer trust the ruling class to bring about necessary change."
As Newsweek mentioned, the ruling class has been benefiting from the working class and Sanders' movement has shown the American people that they have the power to enact change.
Even if Sanders doesn't earn the presidency, American citizens can push and vote for change within their communities and can support other reform candidates on the local, state and federal levels.

Hillary Clinton may have won the delegates over for now but Sanders has set an entire movement into action - one that is not likely to settle any time soon.
