Iran reveals nuclear agreement paranoia

'Don't talk about missile affairs, and if you conduct a test or maneuver, don't mention it.'

Iran continues to breach the nuclear agreement as the Obama administration reportedly attempts to save face.

Highlights

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - According to the Free Beacon, the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps' Aerospace and Missile Force, Amir Ali Hajizadeh, has claimed the U.S. "cannot be trusted."

The Iranian commander claimed U.S. officials have been quietly urging the Islamic Republic to keep their illicit ballistic  missile testing under wraps, lest they raise regional concerns.

Hajizadeh stated: "At this time, the Americans are telling [us]: 'Don't talk about missile affairs, and if you conduct a test or maneuver, don't mention it."

His comments, which were translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute, continued: "If we agree to this, they will advance another step and say: 'Don't conduct [a missile test] at this time, and also don't do it in the Persian Gulf region.' After that, they will tell us: 'Why do you need your missiles to have a range of 2,000 km [anyway?]?'"

The paranoid comments carried on, with Hajizadeh explaining that the United States will then tell Iran their missiles need to be checked - just to ensure they can really carry nuclear weapons. He believes the U.S. will say, "We need to set up cameras" and, eventually, have the country hand over all of their missiles.

Iran "must face [the U.S.] down firmly, and we must act," Hajizadeh stated. "If we do not, we will witness daily their exaggerated and evil demands. They are clearly deluding themselves. Nothing like this will ever happen."

Meanwhile, in the United States, one State Department official simply stated: "We generally don't comment on public remarks by Iranian officials, and especially IRGC officials. We're not going to start now."

The point of the nuclear agreement with Iran was to curb the country's nuclear programs while ensuring the country's programs safety.

Should Iran not comply to the agreement, sanctions are supposed to return to the country, but the Obama administration has yet to follow through with this particular threat.

As Iran continues to breach the agreement, Obama's administration continues to reveal their weakness and inability to lead effectively.
