LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic online) - Hillary Clinton gave a speech in Cleveland where she called out Republicans, comparing them to terrorists.

"Now, extreme views about women, we expect that from some of the terrorist groups, we expect that from people who don't want to live in the modern world, but it's a little hard to take coming from Republicans who want to be the President of the United States."

Amelia Chassé, press secretary for America Rising PAC, an anti-Clinton opposition research group, states, "Hillary Clinton just said a significant portion of Americans are the same as 'terrorist groups' simply because they disagree with her."

Donald Trump leaves a brief comment with MSNBC's Morning Joe, saying, "Her last statement on terrorists was a disgusting statement, by the way."

Republican candidate Carly Fiorina called the comments "outrageous," "over the line" and "typical" of Democrats. "What is tells us is that Hillary Clinton has no qualms about continuing to try and wage this supposed 'war on women' card as she runs for president," she continues. "We ought to expect this."

Even other Democratic candidates see Clinton's desperation and they feel she has made a mistake she cannot come back from.

Democratic candidate Martin O'Malley stated, "Until we start having debates our party is going to be defined and branded by questions like, 'what did Sec. Clinton know, when did she know it, and when will the FBI conclude it's investigation?' That's not a formula for success in the Fall."

"This is outrageous, even for a desperate politician slipping in the polls. It's the clearest sign yet that Sec. Clinton will say or do anything to win," Chassé stated.

Allison Moore, press secretary for the Republican National Committee said, "For Hillary Clinton to equate her political opponents to terrorists is a new low for her flailing campaign. She should apologize immediately for her inflammatory rhetoric."

According to The Wall Street Journal, Clinton is slipping in the polls, particularly in regards to honesty, favorability and trustworthiness.

In word-association questions to voters, "liar" is the first word that comes to mind, followed by "dishonest" and "untrustworthy."
