LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - In 13 states, homosexual "marriage" is now the law of the land, following two Supreme Court rulings that struck down key protections for marriage in the United States and in California.

These rulings have set a precedent that homosexual equivalency advocates hope to use as a springboard to finish off marriage across the rest of the U.S.

According to multiple sources, an astounding number of cases have been brought in every state that still defines marriage as between one man and one woman, as it has been since the first days of the human race.

For homosexuals, it isn't enough to have their deviance legalized and their "lifestyle" glamorized in the media. They must tear down conservative paragons, including marriage, as they force their worldview that their unnatural deviance is as good as your compliance with Natural Law and basic morality.

Defenders of marriage are filing their own lawsuits too. In several states, homosexual equivalency advocates will likely face great challenges because they have state-level constitutional amendments to protect marriage. It is likely these will be the next issue brought before the Supreme Court within the next several years.

Overturning a state constitutional amendment is a very difficult thing to do, and it isn't as easy as overturning a simple law.

What is clear, is that the fight to defend marriage isn't over. Before we are compelled to accept gay marriage as the legal equivalent of-well-marriage, there will be a long and protracted conflict. In the meanwhile, some states, which already make such an allowance, will become havens where homosexual equivalency advocates flock to get married.

As homosexual activists move into the next phase of their battle with mainstream society, they are also preparing for new ones. Fights over child adoptions, workplace provisions, and other issues will likely become more prominent as the emboldened minority turns to activists courts to get their way.
