We ask you, urgently: don't scroll past this
Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Christian Newswire) - In response to President Obama's speech to Congress last night, Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, stated, "If there are 'misunderstandings' or 'bogus claims' about abortion funding in pending health reform legislation, as the President claimed in his speech, they are coming from the White House, not pro-lifers."
Priests for Life is calling on all believers to join a prayer campaign on Facebook regarding health care reform. Every church in the country has been asked to promote this cause at www.prolifeprayers.com.
Likewise, the voices of women who have had abortions are joining the debate via a video which pro-life groups are distributing at www.silentnomoreawareness.org/healthcare.
Individuals and groups have been asked by the women themselves to spread this video so that the voice of experience and not just political debate can be heard.
Priests for Life is the nation's largest Catholic pro-life organization dedicated to ending abortion and euthanasia. For more information, visit www.priestsforlife.org.
