LOS ANGELES (Catholic Online) - Several G.O.P. sources indicate that the former Governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney, will "suspend" his bid to be the Republican nominee for the Presidency of the United States.
A candidate who 'suspends' his campaign can still keep his or her delegates and "technically" remain a candidate. However, for all intents and purposes, it signals the end of the candidacy.
Governor Romney is set to address the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in the early afternoon. Some sources indicate that he will make the announcement during that speech.
