LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Two students are dead following a shooting at Aztec High school in Aztec, New Mexico. Police has announced that the shooter is dead and the situation is over. The school was cleared by police and the students have been evacuated.

There is no further information at this time. It is believed the shooter was another student, but this has not yet been confirmed by police.

We must pray for an end to the senseless violence that plagues our schools and our society at large. Violence such as this solves no problems and leaves thousands of people bereft of hope. May God comfort the afflicted.
