LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The series of videos feature actors posing as someone interested in acquiring the aborted baby body parts, and unveil many horrific statements and actions from some of Planned Parenthood's top officials.
Video of the Houston Planned Parenthood show the Director of Research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, Melissa Farrel, discussing the branch's record of "fetal tissue sales" and the ability to provide fully intact aborted babies who are purposefully born alive. She is filmed "red-handed," explicitly going into detail about processes, contracts, and costs.
Instead of indicting Planned Parenthood for selling these aborted baby parts, David Daleiden, the Center for Medical Progress founder, and another pro-life activist were indicted for "buying them," according to LifeNews.
"Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson announced Monday that Center for Medical Progress founder David Daleiden was indicted on a felony charge of tampering with a governmental record and a misdemeanor count related to purchasing human organs. Another activist was also indicted on a charge of tampering with a governmental record," the Associated Press reported. "A news release announcing the indictment doesn't say what the record was. Anderson said the grand jury cleared Planned Parenthood of any wrongdoing."
Daleiden potentially faces 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
"We respect the processes of the Harris County District Attorney, and note that buying fetal tissue requires a seller, as well," CMP stated, according to Life Site. "Planned Parenthood still cannot deny the admissions from their leadership about fetal organ sales captured on video for all the world to see."
According to LifeNews, pro-life Texas Governor, Greg Abbott announced Texas would continue to de-fund the abortion business.
"The Health and Human Service Commission's Inspector General and the Attorney General's office have an ongoing investigation into Planned Parenthood's actions," said Governor Abbott. "Nothing about today's announcement in Harris County impacts the state's ongoing investigation. The State of Texas will continue to protect life, and I will continue to support legislation prohibiting the sale or transfer of fetal tissue."
Although many investigations have been launched into Planned Parenthood's horrific abortion practices, they continue to face no charges for "offering to sell human organs."
