San Bernardino cleric caught LYING about knowing Syed Farook, are they harboring other terrorists?

FBI search of phone records reveal cleric knew Farook, despite denying association.

The Muslim cleric who spoke at the mosque attended by Syed Farook, the San Bernardino shooter, has lied to authorities about how well he knew the terrorist. In public statements, the mosque's spokesman, Roshan Zamir Abbassi, said that he did not know Farook any better than he knew the reporters in the room with him. An FBI search of his cellphone records have determined this is a lie.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - The cleric who spoke on behalf of the mosque attended by Syed Farook, the San Bernardino shooter, denied knowing the terrorist, but an FBI search of his phone records has revealed the two had extensive conversations. There was also a notable flurry of conversation in June following a terrorist shooting spree on two military sites in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Roshan Zamir Abbassi has publicly stated that he did not know Farook from any of the others who attended the mosque.

Lying is acceptable in Islam when Muslims feel they are at war with another party. Does Abbassi assume he is at war with America? It's possible.

Several members of the mosque have also admitted that Farook attended the mosque regularly.

While the mosque itself is distancing itself from Farook and radical Islam in general, one of its spokespersons has now been caught lying about his association with a known terrorist. What other lies are being told? Are there more terrorists associated with the mosque?

Only a full and thorough investigation will help the FBI determine if there is something more sinister going on among some of the mosque's members.

The FBI has announced that a jihadist cult, Tablighi Jamaat, which has 50,000 members worldwide, is recruiting in the United States, and has been found in at least 10 states.

The threat of Islamic terrorism in the United States is very grave and the public must take it very seriously. If a trusted spokesman for a mosque lies to the public about his involvement with a terrorist, what else could he, or his associates be lying about?
