Subway's Jared agrees to plead guilty to soliciting sex with minors and child pornography

The former Subway pitchman Jared Fogle has reportedly agreed to plead guilty to engaging in sexual activities with minors and possession of child pornography, according to The Blaze. The U.S. attorney's office in Indianapolis released documents on Wednesday, stating the agreement included paying each of his victims $100,000 each. His home was raided by Federal investigators after the director of his foundation was arrested for child pornography.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - According to The Blaze, Fogle agreed to pleading guilty to "one count of travel to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor and one count of distribution and receipt of child pornography," while his attorney, Ron Elberger, stated that he has no comment on the turn of events at the moment.

Prosecutors filed the agreement ahead of Fogle's court appearance, explaining that he had concurred to pay restitution of $1.4 million for the 14 victims, register as a sex offender and undergo rehabilitation treatment for his sexual disorders. Fogle will not ask for a prison sentence of less than 5 years, while the government will not push for more than 12 ½ years of imprisonment.

Fogle's home was searched following the arrest of Russell Taylor, the former director of the Jared Foundation, because of recording nude footage and images of minors without their knowledge. Court documents explain that Fogle knew of Taylor's activities and made approving comments and even discussed the minors by their names.

Meanwhile, Subway stated they are no longer connected to Fogle, concerning some of their customers, and did not offer any further statement on the matter. Fogle's wife, Katie Fogle said in a released statement on Tuesday that she was "extremely shocked and disappointed" with the revelations and plans to file a divorce.
