Student claims he did not mean to hurt anyone with his words.

Texas Christian University decided to suspend a conservative Christian student after he allegedly damaged other people by posting statements against the Islamic State, Baltimore rioters and Mexicans. However, the student stated he believes he is not what the university is making him out to be and he appealed to the board, which subsequently got rejected. The student chose to abide by his beliefs, but apologized to those hurt by his choice of words.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - "They're trying to make me out to be the classic bigoted hateful white male. That's the complete opposite of what I am," said Harry Vincent in a telephone interview with Todd Starnes from Fox News.

Vincent, 19, posted several statements over social media that were deemed inappropriate by the university. He was ordered to do 60 hours of community service and attend a diversity training class. He is also banned from almost all school activities through the suspension.

"When student's conduct violates the university's behavioral standards, they are subject to a disciplinary process, and will be held accountable for their actions," said the official statement of TCU. The school administration sent him a letter on April 29, telling him that he violated the student code of conduct, specifically accusing him of "infliction of bodily or emotional arm [sic]" and "disorderly conduct."

According to reports, Vincent was reported to authorities by a group on Twitter, launched by a middle school classmate of his offended by his remarks.

Although he still abides by his beliefs about the rioters in Baltimore and the radical Islam, he said he regrets calling them out using foul language, including the word "beaner" to refer to Mexicans. Vincent explained he did not know his choice of words would damage anyone and feels regretful, apologizing to those he offended.
