FBI sets up in areas prime for attack

Three days before the United States' Independence Day, the FBI has already began setting up command centers in all of the 56 field offices across the country prior to the fourth. The U.S. Government is preparing for possible terrorist attacks and terrorist threats that may take advantage of the event.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - The 4th of July celebration is over the weekend, but the FBI and U.S. government decided to start setting up precautionary and security measures in all of its offices. The event is a very appealing occasion for terrorist attacks both from ISIS, as well as other militant groups, according to the Daily Mail.

The sudden movements in security and military forces have come about because of the possible attacks on these command centers during a time of the celebration for the country. The fears that the ISIS may be working on a plan for this event is present. The southern borders of the country are also being closely monitored for illegal activities and ISIS.

The U.S. government's decision also comes after the back-to-back attacks in France, Kuwait and Tunisia last week. Although no confirmed threats have been reported, the precautionary actions are deemed necessary.

The need to stay vigilant from terrorist attacks is real, according to Representative Mike McCaul, Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security.

"I am extremely concerned that Syrian and ISIS recruiters can use the internet at lightning speeds to recruit followers in the United States, with thousands of followers in the United States, and then activate them to do whatever they want to do," McCaul said, during an interview on Fox News Sunday.

ISIS is considered a global threat by U.S. security groups. Three attacks within three hours in three different countries were administered by ISIS militants, last Friday.

The FBI continues to issue warnings to local governments across the U.S. as the risk of terrorist attacks rise as the 4th of July draws near.
