Hoda Muthana, 20, shocked her entire suburban community when she joined the extremist Islamic State back in November. Muthana was allegedly brainwashed by the terrorist group when she fled to Syria using her university tuition fee. The young American refused to go back to her family and endulged her life as an extremist.

She grew up as a reserved person and was even described by one of her batchmates in high school as a quiet girl, just keeping to herself.
Unknowingly, the 2-year-old may have had feelings that her life lacked something, which could have made her intrigued by the controversy surrounding ISIS.
After being radicalized through the Internet, Muthana reportedly asked permission to go on a class trip to Atlanta but rather she went out to Syria, officially joining the terrorist group and married one of the jihadists a month later.
"I started getting interested in my deen [religious life] around 2012. I felt like my life was so bland without it. Life has much more meaning when you know why your here," she told Buzzfeed in an interview through Kik.
Her now-suspended Twitter account contained statements encouraging people to terrorize "non-believers."

"Go on drive-bys and spill all of their blood, or rent a big truck and drive all over them. Veterans, Patriot, Memorial etc Day parades..go on drive by's and spill all of their blood or rent a big truck and drive all over them. Kill them," she wrote on her former Twitter account @ZamuraIJannah, according to The Blaze.
After refusing to go back home, her parents have apologized for her actions.
