Dear readers, Catholic Online was de-platformed by Shopify for our pro-life beliefs. They shut down our Catholic Online, Catholic Online School, Prayer Candles, and Catholic Online Learning Resources essential faith tools serving over 1.4 million students and millions of families worldwide. Our founders, now in their 70's, just gave their entire life savings to protect this mission. But fewer than 2% of readers donate. If everyone gave just $5, the cost of a coffee, we could rebuild stronger and keep Catholic education free for all. Stand with us in faith. Thank you.Help Now >

WASHINGTON, DC (Catholic Online) - 1,173 pages of detailed Medical Records were made available to the Associated Press today by the McCain campaign.
The Records covered the years 2000 to 2008.
In short, , has a healthy heart and, except for having to control his cholesterol with the help of medication like many other Americans, is in good heath.
The release of the records comes amidst a growing discussion of the candidate's age. It also comes during the week after the tragic news of Senator Ted Kennedy's brain cancer diagnosis.
Senator McCain has survived three melanoma's, skin cancers, and is thus at risk for recurrence.
He regularly sees a dermatologist and has no lesions of any concern to the reviewing physicians. He had four separate melanomas excised from his head and arm in 1993, 2000 and 2002.Three of the lesions were early stage and were easily removed.
However, the one on his left temple was "invasive" and required delicate surgery to remove. It also led to an examination of his lymph nodes to determine whether the cancer had spread. It had not. There was no invasion into his lymph system.
His expected Democratic rival for the Presidency, Senator Barack Obama, will turn 47 in August. He is young, athletic and recently quit smoking.
Senator Obama has not yet released his own health records but is presumed to be in very good health.
