LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The video revealed ten small rooms with worn pillows, cushions and blankets.
The walls have writing and much of the site appears to have been abused.
The town of Manbij was recently reclaimed by rebel fighters and they discovered the prison on Wednesday.
Sadly, the prison housed several tools, sexual stimulants, narcotics and contraceptives.
The shocking discovery brings the realities of ISIS' rule to light in a way very little else does. The prison was not discovered centuries after women were tortured and raped - it was discovered mere days later.
Omar Mazerli told Sky News: "We found various kinds of pills, including sexual stimulation, contraceptives and narcotic pills which were used by the Islamic State group for torture.
"They have very strange ways. This place was hard to find and it is well hidden, but we got here with God's will and the efforts of the Military Council."
The stomach-churning footage revealed plastic dog bowls on the floor filled with ground food and some kind of drink beside other spilled liquids.
The horrors that occurred in the prison were slowly revealed with each new room providing disturbing insights.
Perhaps the worst images were the worn, molding and stained mattresses in each section. Please pray for an end to the war and to the horrific practices of an extremist group gone mad. Pray for the women who survived the continuous torture and pray for the souls of all the women who didn't make it out of that prison alive.
