LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Once again, the brutal justice of the Islamic State terror organization has been witnessed by the world. This time, they stoned to death four of their own citizens, who were convicted of adultery in a Sharia court.
An image released by the organization on Twitter show the men praying while a crowd gathers, stones in hand.
A second image shows the angry crowd throwing the stones at the hapless men, whose skulls would have been painfully shattered and crushed by the execution.
While stoning is considered an exceptionally brutal, anachronistic form of execution, it has made a return in areas controlled by Islamic groups such as ISIS in Iraq and Syria and the Taliban in Afghanistan.
The most frequent victims of stoning are women, but as recent evidence shows, men can be stoned too.
